I am getting so anxious, my period is due tomorrow, and I am trying to read all of my bodys signals. My boobs usually hurt so bad before my period and they hurt for a couple days and then just stopped, I have been having cramps on and off, I have been tired, actually I just woke up from a nap. My temp is at 98.9, and my cervix is very high and soft, almost so high I cant reach it. Maybe I am just getting to excited about every little thing. I hope AF dosnt come !!!

Me and my fiancee started trying almost two weeks ago. When I say try I mean went protection free. Now when we did that the first time i checked the calendar and said it was just good practice because my period was due the next day.
I never got my period and its now eight days later. Eight days five negative home tests and one failed urinalysis at the Doctor this afternoon. She sent me for blood work - which I told my fiancee just seemed to me to be a form of emotional torture you can only hear you are not pregnant so many times. My doctor said if that comes back negative I have to wait a whole month and then she will send me for an Ultrasound and if that shows nothing then she will put me on something to regulate my cycle.(my biggest fear is that it is tubal and she is going to miss it- if I wait a month won;t that be kind of dangerous??) This is the thing my cycle is always like clock work. I had gone on HBC in September but my body cannot tolerate HBC so I was off it completely by Januaray. Got my period twice in one month after I went off it and went right back to my average 28 day no problem cycle. I could literally mark my period on the counter and count twenty eight days from there and now all of a sudden this?
Its funny you never know just how badly you want something until all of a sudden out of nowhere it seems like you can;t have it. I cried all the way to the hospital to get the blood work done and somehow calmed myself down enough before going inside.
I don't know what the pains I am having are. I don't know why I am so tired. No period no postive tests.
Does anyone have any advice.

Weight Loss Update [Mar. 21st, 2006|06:39 pm]

Hello Everyone, so I officialy started my diet on thursday and have already lost 8 pounds and two inches ! I did the six week body makeover diet for two days and grew very sick of it, so I decided to go low carb. That way I could still enjoy a lot of the foods I like ! And it has actually worked for me. I have Breakfast then two hours later a mid morning snack, and then two hours after that I have lunch, and then two hours after that I have my afternoon snack, and then two hours after that I have dinner and I am done for the night. I am also drinking lots of water ! The first two days was really tough I was going through major carb and sugar withdrawls, but now I feel great, and today I started doing a yoga DVD so hopefully that will help also. As I said in my previous post the reason for me losing weight and adapting a healthier lifestyle is because within the next year or two my fiance and I would like to try to start a family, latley I have been having these very strong motherly desires and I think knowing that I cant concieve at this point just makes it worse. So last night after my boyfriend and I got done painting our living room, we were sitting on the couch and he asked how much weight I had lost and I said 8 pounds and he said I am so proud of you thats wonderful and gave me a kiss... I said yep, and he replied how does this sound for every 10 pounds you lose we will pick out somthing baby related (i.e. clothes, toys, bottles, whatever) and this way we can store it away and when you do get pregnant we will already have collection of the stuff we need. That just melted my heart because I have been working so hard to achieve my dream and he sees that ! So I guess for every 10 pounds I lose I get to pick somthing out for our future son or daughter, very exciting !

New Here, First Post [Mar. 10th, 2006|10:32 pm]

Hello everyone, this is my first post here, so let me give you a little background. My name is Lacey and I am 21 years old and I live in michigan, I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 16, and have been on a roller coaster with it ever since ! About three and a half years ago, I met the love of my life Jason, lately we have been doing a lot of talking about wanting children, I know it is going to be very hard for us to conceive, because within the three year period we have been together we have never used protection of any kind, and I have never become pregnant. So after giving everything much thought, and especially the fact of how much both of us really want children (I have wanted a baby for as long as I can remember), I have decided to go on a diet, my friend is currently on the six week body makeover diet, and since october she has lost 52 pounds, so I am hoping by joying her on this diet, I too can lose my needed weight, and this will regulate my not so regular cycles, and by this time next year, I will hopefully be able to get pregnant, I am not only doing this because I want to get pregnant, but for many health issues such as diabetes and heart disease is very common in my family, and I am lucky I have not been diagnosed with diabetes yet, I am currently at 274 pounds and am hoping to be around 174 by this time next year, I have faith in myself that I will be able to lose this weight, because now I have something to lose it for ! If any of you have weight loss tips, or anything you would like to share, please leave me comments, I am looking forward to meeting everyone !

Hi, I'm Annie. I'm 22, married for 2 years, & we've decided to start passively TTC. The thing is, I'm more wanting to active TTC. I've been on bc pills since I was 15. I've been off them for a month now & I am currently on my period. Is there a way to find out if I've even fertile yet, besides fertility tests? I mean, is there a sure-fire way to know you're fertile? I know my ovulation period will be around February 6-13 somewhere, but what's to even say I'm fertile yet from being on the pill for so long? I know it differs from person to person, but is there a way to find out?

Wow boy do I look like an ass! Somehow it slipped right by me that other people had joined the group and were even posting! I want to apologize, thats definitely bad community leadership.
I should find out where my emails are going when you guys comment!
I guess I should introduce myself!
My name is Crystal, i'm 24 from Washington state and am currently pregnant with baby #,1 it's a boy named Casper Rayne and he's due March 15th! Yay! My husband and I were TTC for 1.5 years with PCOS and had one miscarriage in June of last year (2004) so we're very excited about our little man on his way. Amazingly enough we got pregnant while we were on a break from all the fertility drugs, charting and just plain trying so hard. I hope to see all of you on your pregnancy journeys soon, believe me it's an interesting road to go down.
I look forward to getting to know you all and apologize again for not paying attention to our growing group!

[Today I Feel |chipperchipper]

Hi, I just joined so thought I would do a quick intro :)

My name is Linda, I'm 19 (20 in December) and engaged to be married with Tom :)
Guess my username tells everything about when we're getting married XD
We are both born and raised in Norway, but moved to Sweden cause we both got jobs here.

We started to TTC in August 04, right after we had moved from Norway to Sweden. And we stopped now in August 05. So, it was one year with nothing. We have decided to take a break until after the wedding now.

But I'm still following in TTC communities and such to have stuff to read, possibly offer some support where I can, and keep up with everything basically. :)

Anyway, hi, that was me :D

I went to the doctor today. So far everythings fine. YAY! We saw our little kidney bean, and saw the heart beat. We didn't get an exact heart rate but the doc said it was over 100. The baby size to fluid amount ratio is right on target this time. The only negative thing the doctor said was the baby seems a little bit small for the gestation age. Not a problem, she just thinks they might have miss calculated and that I'm only 8w4d instead of 10w0d. I go back in 3 weeks to get a blood hormone lvl test a pap, and another ultrasound. I"M SO HAPPY!!!!!

April 8w4d - 10w0d?
